only in Chelsea

I'm sure most of you have been in the middle of traffic. Bumper to bumper and you re in a hurry, or you re late for a meeting, its too hot out, whatever. There is always that one car, or many that sitting there behind you, in front with the guy/gal one car behind yelling some angry four letter words with motions involving one finger. Yesterday I'm outside my office taking a smoke break. The line of traffic due to the construction at the traffic light end of 24th st stretches from 7th to 6th ave. Horns are blaring and and then one horn just laid all theirs to waste. It was the air horn of a box truck rolling up the street. After the driver was done polluting the air with making all of us on the sidewalk deaf for a second I hear someone yell from behind a car "Don't blow your horn, blow me!". Ive heard the saying "The horn blows does the driver" before but never "BLOW ME!"
These are the little surprising quotes I guess I would've already heard after so many years of working in the same location across the street from one of the biggest gay/lesbian resource center of sorts. Not this one though.
I don't think I will be using that line too much if ever at all besides this blog.
